LSD - Long slow distanceLong slow distance training is a form of continuous training performed at a constant pace of low to moderateintensity over an extended distance or duration. The moderate training intensity of LSD is effective in improving endurance and maximum oxygen uptake in individuals who are undertrained or moderately trained. Long slow distance training is thought not to be effective when used in isolation by well-trained athletes, who in order to achieve further improvements in metabolic conditioning require higher training intensities that are not sustainable at the work durations associated with LSD.
Jadi aku pon register la untuk '15km 2xu route (pace 9-10)'. Macam biasa aku pon ajak la kawan aku Fazrul. Dia pon set nak join walaupon hujung minggu tu dia dah join Jambori Basikal. Macam biasa kene bangun awal pukul 5.00AM.. 5.30AM gerak dari rumah. Dalam pukul 5.55AM sampai la tempat letak kereta Padang Merbuk. Solat dulu kat parking. Lepak dan besiap-siap dulu sambil tunggu kawan aku Fazrul.
Tepat 6.30AM group kami pon mulakan larian. Kecik je kumpulan kami. Dalam 6 orang sahaja. Semua lelaki.
Patutnya pace 9-10' sekali diorang layan pace 8.30'. Hahaha.. Nasib baik dapat kejar. So far bagi aku group ni mmg ok sangat. Mmg memegang moto diorang 'Just go run, left no one behind'.
15km.
Stat larian aku.
Ni kali pertama aku lari 15km. Mmg rasa penat sangat lepas pada 10km. Selalu buat 10km je. Lagipon route kat sini banyak bukit. Tinggi plak tu. Adus.. Disebabkan event NMGalaxy 2nd series buat kat sini la aku sanggup turun training kat sini.
Bukit lepas pada Perhentian Bas Jalan Duta
Masih lagi memanjat bukit.
Group pace 9-10'. Bukit lagi.
Muka kepenatan selepas menamatkan larian 15km.
Tahniah aku ucapkan kepada group FB Running Kaki sebab menganjurkan LSD ni. Siap ada water station lagi tu. Cumanya aku tak tau diorang ada kutip donation untuk LSD ni.. Nex time bila join aku donate ye... Hheheh
